We wish to offer a hearty Thank You to the students of the New Jersey Youth Corps-Camden who spent much of the day on Monday, March 28 performing a service project at the park. The students took tools in hand and worked to remove invasive callery pear and Asiatic bittersweet from a section of the Perimeter Trail area near the parking lot. These invasive, non-native plants crowd out native vegetation and reduce biodiversity. Thank you New Jersey Youth Corps-Camden for a job well done.
